Eligibility/Selection Criteria

  • Graduate of accredited MD or DO medical school within the last 3 years
  • Requirements for international medical graduates:
    • Standard ECFMG certificate
    • Completion of an accredited internship in the United States
    • Eligible for ECFMG visa sponsorship if not a United States citizen or permanent resident (THO sponsors only J-1 visas)

Applications

  • Three available positions filled through the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).
  • We accept applications through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS).
  • The THO diagnostic radiology residency program is Categorical. Candidates who match with our program will automatically match into a PGY-1 position in the Transitional Year program at Trinity Health Oakland. We do not consider applicants who have completed any prior residency training.
