Muskegon PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • Be a graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)-accredited degree program (or one in process of pursuing accreditation) or have a Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Committee (FPGEC) certificate from the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP)
  • Have completed or are in the process of completing a PGY1 residency through an ASHP-accredited (or candidate status) program by the start of the PGY2 residency.
  • Be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Michigan.

Application Process

  • Residency candidates must submit an online application through PhORCAS, which includes:
    • Letter of intent
    • Curriculum Vitae
    • College of pharmacy transcripts
    • Three letters of recommendation using the standard PHORCAS form (please do NOT include a separate letter of recommendation)
  • Candidates will be invited for an on-site interview consisting of the RPD, members of the Residency Advisory Committee (RAC), current PGY2 resident, and management.
  • The application deadline can be found at www.ashp.org/phorcas.
  • Residents accepting this position agree to complete 52 weeks of residency training at Trinity Health Muskegon and must complete all the requirements for the program before the certificate of completion can be awarded.
