Women for Health
Philanthropy for West Michigan Women
Women for Health is the women's giving club at Trinity Health Muskegon. Its purpose is to encourage philanthropy among area women and educate members about health care advances and issues. Each year, Women for Health members are presented with three funding opportunities that advance medical care, meet the needs of our community or enhance the patient experience.
Since 2007, Women for Health members have made an extraordinary difference for their families, friends and neighbors.
Membership
With an annual gift of $1,000 or more, members become part of a group driving purposeful investment in health care. A multi-year commitment is not required. Members enjoy knowing they are part of an informed and empowered group who are impacting lives and enhancing medical services at Trinity Health Muskegon.
There are four social dinner meetings each year. At each of the first three, a presentation is made about a potential project for funding consideration. At the fourth and final meeting of the year, recap presentations are made, and then members cast a vote for their favorite project. Funded projects, determined by majority vote of the membership, receive the collective dues for the year.
Guests are welcome to attend a meeting to check out the group with no obligation to join.
